Active Trowbridge

Active Trowbridge was initiated in 2008 with four young people joining Active Trowbridge scheme as Community Sports Coach Apprentices. Rapidly the demand for their coaching skills dictated more Community coaches and in less than three years later, the Active Trowbridge coaching team grew to 36 young people, aged between 18-25 years old.

As well as providing breakfast, lunchtime and after school clubs in several primary schools in and around theTrowbridge area, Active Trowbridge also provides school holiday activities called 'Fun Days' in Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon, Westbury and Warminster.

The extent of sporting experience amongst the Active Trowbridge coaches is second to none, their level of commitment and enthusiasm for their work and the young people of Trowbridge is truly commendable.

Archery Club

Archery Club

Starting Monday 4th March 2013

We would like to welcome children aged over 10 and adults to our brand new Archery Club. Whether it's a new experience you're wanting, or perhaps you you like to perfect your archery skills, please feel free to come along!

As an introductary offer we would like to provide four free sessions, however we do have limited spaces so we ask that all persons book a place by calling 01225 765072.

Archery Club will be held every Monday in term time at John of Gaunt School at 17:30pm - 19:00pm.

Saturday Morning Club

Active Trowbridge runs a Saturday Morning Club for ages 5 - 12.

The club is held at Walwayne Court School every Saturday including half term

at 10:00am - 11:30am.

The club will be a mixture of sports including Hockey, Basketball, Tag Rugby, Netball, Football, Alternative Sports and Athletics. There will also be lots more including inflatables on the last session of each term.

The fee is £2.00 per session and can be paid for weekly; numbers are limited so if you wish to pay in advance to reserve your space, you can do so.

You can pay at the Civic Centre in Trowbridge or pay on arrival at Walwayne Cour School.

Please make sure your child has the correct clothing and footwear which is suitable for outdoor activity.
