Active Trowbridge

Active Trowbridge was initiated in 2008 with four young people joining Active Trowbridge scheme as Community Sports Coach Apprentices. Rapidly the demand for their coaching skills dictated more Community coaches and less than three years later, the Active Trowbridge coaching team has grown to 36 young people, aged between 18-25 years old.

As well as providing breakfast, lunchtime and after school clubs in every primary school in Trowbridge the Active Trowbridge Team provides school holiday activities in Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon,Westbury and Warminster.

The extent of sporting experience amongst the Active Trowbridge coaches is second to none, their level of commitment and enthusiasm for their work and the young people of Trowbridge is truly commendable.
