TROWBRIDGE CIVIC CENTRE
Multi-Use Event and Conferencing Venue
TROWBRIDGE CIVIC CENTRE
With 5 rooms available for hire, varying in size, the Civic Centre prides itself on being able to accommodate any needs you may have, from small intimate meetings, large seminars and conferences, wedding ceremonies and receptions, to large dinner dances and parties.
In addition, The Civic Centre is now able to offer facilities and a licence to hold weddings and partnership ceremonies, together with receptions, all at one location. The choice is yours – from the centrally located Council Chamber with its magnificent full glass frontage and idyllic view over Trowbridge Park making an excellent venue for a wedding reception holding up to 100 persons, to the Pitman Committee Room, not only suitable for small meetings or ‘breakout’ rooms but it can also play host to a wedding ceremony for up to 60 persons. All rooms come equipped with internet facilities, and prices include presentation, audio and visual equipment.
The Civic Centre has also become home to our award winning “Wedding Service” catering partners ‘Crown Catering’. Crown Catering will be providing all food and beverage services within the Civic Centre and with its newly opened café, ‘Cafe Culture’, they will provide a first class service for all your catering needs. Why not drop in for a coffee and see for yourself! The café is open daily from 9am-4pm Monday-Saturday
THE LANSDOWN HALL AND STANCOMB ROOMS
The Lansdown Hall is named after the original editor of the Wiltshire Times, who was an historian with a great knowledge of the town’s architecture. This is the largest room within the Civic Centre and is suitable to host meetings, presentations, dinner dances, sporting events and musical and theatrical events. The Hall meets every need for stage events with its multi deck stage allowing flexible use, and a full width sound/light gallery fitted with all that is needed to run professional events. This room also links conveniently to the Stancomb Rooms, named after a wealthy 18th century clothier family based in Trowbridge. These facilities are predominantly designed to be used as dressing rooms. They can also facilitate small meetings or be used as ‘breakout’ rooms when an event needs to expand outside the main hall area.
THE BOWYER ROOM
The Bowyer Room is named after one of Trowbridge’s largest and long term employers. This room is a flexible large space suitable for meetings, examinations and presentations as a sole independent booking. It also has space for additional ‘breakout’ facilities and can also be used as a break out room when using the Council Chamber.
For more details and prices on any of the above, contact The Management of the Civic Centre on 01225 765072, who will be pleased to discuss and advise you on your individual requirements.
