Ahoy There, at The Civic Centre!

There was plenty of fun and games at the Civic Centre last Friday when Gemma Hunt from CBeebies’ ‘Swashbuckle’ hosted a Pirate Party for several hundred youngsters. Many of the young guests were dressed as pirates for the occasion, which helped to raise money for Raising for Raife, a locally-focused charity which campaigns to combat NAIT (neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia).

Gemma was born in Trowbridge, and is an ambassador for Active Trowbridge, which provides sports activities for children and young people throughout Trowbridge and the surrounding area.
