Trowbridge Museum recently hosted an afternoon of Victorian-themed cream teas in the town’s Sensory Garden. The event was held as part of the Museum’s fund-raising campaign toward its expansion project, with staff and volunteers serving guests while dressed in period costume.
Museum Curator, Clare Lyall said “Everyone who came really enjoyed the afternoon. We were pleased to welcome the Mayor and other guests and visitors, and hope it provided a taste of things to come, as we’ll be offering themed food-based events once we have expanded into the upper floor of the Museum in a couple of years’ time.”
