The Friends of Trowbridge Park are a group of local volunteers who have an interest in preserving, maintaining and enhancing the beautiful public green spaces of Trowbridge Park. In association with Trowbridge Town Council, the group over the last three years have been responsible for a number of projects and improvements in the park, including opening up safe routes around the park, providing safe seating areas, improved lighting, establishing a number of floral borders and pushing for the enforcement of the new Public Spaces Protection Order.
The group come together every month to carry out a range of tasks from tree and shrub clearance to light gardening, maintenance, weeding and litter picking. If you have a few hours to spare and are like-minded to assist in maintaining this wonderful town centre space of ours please come and join us at our regular working party meeting at the Roundstone Surgery corner of the park, 2-4pm every 1st Wednesday of the month. No experience required.
