The Annual Carnival Soapbox Derby takes place in Castle Street on Sunday 20th August. Registration starts at 9am, with the first run at 10am.

There will be three classes this year: Child, from age 7 to 11, Teenager from 12 – 15 and Adult 16 and above.

It costs £2 for each person to register, and each vehicle can be used by different entrants, so families and friends can all participate.
