Town Mayor Deb Halik and other town representatives recently paid a visit to the town of Elblag in Poland, with which Trowbridge is twinned. The visit took place at the beginning of September, when the town holds its annual Bread Festival. The Trowbridge delegation was warmly welcomed by the President of Elblag, Witold Wróblewski, who said he looked forward to continuing co-operation between the two towns, in recognition of Trowbridge’s large Polish population.
