THE end of British Summer Time is almost here, which, despite the gloom, brings one positive thing – an extra hour in bed. At 2am on Sunday, October 29, the clocks will roll back one hour and you can feel like you’re doing a bit of time-travelling (kind of). Confused? Just remember the timeless saying: “Spring forward, fall back”.
The return of Greenwich Mean Time means it will get darker in the evenings and lighter in the mornings, but at least you can theoretically fit a bit more sleep in.
The clocks will change back to BST on March 25, 2018.
