Trowbridge Town Council recently said goodbye to two long-serving members of staff.
Philip Bath and Martin Bray originally joined the Council in 2008 as volunteers at Trowbridge Information Centre, Philip eventually becoming a supervisor, while Martin remained a volunteer at the same time remaining in employment elsewhere. Our customers will miss Philip’s in-depth knowledge of rail travel, always knowing the best and cheapest routes for the traveller. Martin will be remembered for his ability to never miss a customer on the counter. We always knew our numbers were correct when Martin worked a shift. Philip will be starting a new business venture in Trowbridge, and we wish him well.
Both will be missed by the team and we are grateful for their service. Gifts and certificates of appreciation were presented by Lance Allan, the Town Council’s Chief Executive, at a party at the town’s Valeroso Lounge.
