Trowbridge Town Council has given its wholehearted support to plans regarding further direct train services between the town and London Paddington.

A government consultation concerning the future of the Great Western Rail Service is ongoing, with the possibility of more long distance services being introduced between London and Wiltshire. Councillor Peter Fuller, Council Leader, welcomed this idea, with the prospect of improved rail links for the town, to serve its ever-increasing population.
