Friday March 2nd will see Trowbridge Town Council staff and councillors rolling up their sleeves, picking up a black sack and taking part in a litter pick around the St. Stephen’s Place and Town Park areas. Everyone is pitching in as part of the Great British Spring Clean, a Keep Britain Tidy campaign to bring people across the country together to clear up the litter that blights towns, villages, the countryside and beaches.

Bill Austin, Deputy Chief Executive of Trowbridge Town Council, said “It always brings a good feeling when you know that you have done something worthwhile to support your community’s living space: I myself live in Trowbridge and I prefer to take action rather than just talk about the issues. Come and join us, or why not organise your own litter pick in your neighbourhood?”
