Have you heard of the Community Hub? Situated opposite the Julian House charity shop in The Shires Shopping Centre, a number of local organisations have pooled their resources to run a this drop-in centre in the Shires, Trowbridge.
Trowbridge Community Area Future (TCAF) have co-ordinated this project to ensure the Trowbridge community have direct access to statutory, community, voluntary and charitable groups in Wiltshire. At the Hub, the public can engage with all participating organisations, contribute to their community and neighbourhoods, gain advice, share information, promote and advertise events, recruit volunteers and become involved in activities and services. Various members will be available within a certain time slot of any given week, including TCAF, The Learning Curve, Trowbridge Lions, Town Hall Arts, Victim Support, Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire and Swindon Users Network, Carers Support Wiltshire, Breakthrough Trowbridge and Friends of Trowbridge Sensory Garden.
