A team of willing volunteers recently picked up their grabbers and black bags in Trowbridge and set to work tidying up the area around the River Biss between Cradle Bridge and the Town Bridge. Comprising of Army and Wiltshire Police cadets, and ably assisted by Town Councillors Geoff Whiffen and Tom Bazan, the team managed to fill up over 20 black sacks and two supermarket trolleys with an assortment of rubbish. Similar litterpicks are planned for the coming months, so if you are interested in becoming involved, please call Trowbridge Town Council on 01225 765072 or email info@trowbridge.gov.uk.
