A Town Development meeting took place on the 21st August, see below for highlights of the meeting:

Trowbridge Town Council have objected to the proposal for eight apartments with communal amenities at the former Health Clinic located on The Halve. To see the full list of objections and further details, click here.

The proposal for 113 houses on the land of Southview Park, which has plans to include a mixture of one to four bedroom houses, was also faced with objections from the Town Council. To see further details on the application and objections, click here.

A Policy and Resources meeting took place on the 4th September. Grants were discussed and awarded to Collaborative Schools and Julian House Bike Workshop. To find out details of the awards, click here.

Trowbridge Town Hall Arts, together with six Councillors, have established a Task and Finish Group. This has been put into place to assist the future of the Town Hall with a strict timetable for reporting and to look at future investments and partnerships.
