Trowbridge Information Centre was recently delighted to welcome two American visitors named Trowbridge. Glen and Joyce Trowbridge, from Duvall, a small town near Seattle, were visiting the West Country in search of family history based around Devon and Taunton. They paid a couple of visits to the Centre itself, where they purchased a number of souvenirs and publications connected with the town: the Centre staff were happy to give the couple information on the town, and very much enjoyed meeting the visitors from ‘across the pond’.
