Over the holiday weekend, the Information Centre will be open between 10am and 2pm on Saturday April 20th only . . . So if you’re visiting us that day, why not drop in and take part in Trowbridge Ted’s Easter Trail? For £2.00, you can get a trail leaflet – hunt the Teds hidden in the park, find the mystery word and return your form* to the Centre to receive a delicious chocolate Easter egg. For more details, call 01225 765072 or email firstname.lastname@example.org (please note that spaces are limited to 60). We look forward to seeing you . . . We also have lots of great ideas for days out, and if you’re looking to travel by rail over the weekend (or at any other time, for that matter), why not come in for a chat with us? The ‘Young Voice Of Trowbridge’ competition was held recently at The Spectrum Theatre, within the Clarendon Academy. This annual event pits students from local schools against each other to find the best public speaker. Sponsored by Trowbridge in Bloom, a highlight of this year’s ceremony was TiB chairman, Mrs Jennifer Polledri, announcing to those present that she had received a handwritten letter from the renowned broadcaster and naturalist, Sir David Attenborough, in which he congratulated TiB “on all Trowbridge in Bloom is doing to bring environmental issues to the attention of the pupils”.
