Employees from the Town Council (some pictured below taking part in 2018) will again be getting involved in Denim For Dementia on Friday October 18th, an annual occasion where they have the chance to ‘dress down’ for the office, and raise funds for Alzheimer’s Support – you can find out more about it here.

In September, another group of Council colleagues raised over £700 in support of the Mayor’s charity ruksak45218, by flinging themselves out of an aeroplane into the skies above Salisbury! Read more about their achievement here . . .

Would you be interested in having some of the team from Active Trowbridge coming along and helping your charity in the run-up to Christmas? In December 2018, they helped out with packing shoeboxes full of gifts for Operation Christmas Child, based at Westbury. Contact them on in**@ac**************.uk or call 01225 765072.

And also with Christmas in mind, the Information Centre will soon be selling Christmas cards in support of the Mayor’s charity ruksak45218 – a competition was held to find the winning design, the honour going to local resident Mrs Lyn Hardy. The cards themselves will be on sale at the Centre from the end of October, with all proceeds going to ruksak45218.
