. . . on Saturday October 19th and is going to be bigger and better than ever. Get your space early for a great view with all kinds of entries from families to big floats, with lots of singing and dancing. Starting from Canal Road at 7pm travelling up through Timbrell Street and through the town’s streets finishing in front of County Hall. Trowbridge Carnival is always well received with thousands of people lining the streets in support of one of the biggest community events of the year.

Whilst the carnival is taking place, please note that certain roads will be closed to traffic. The following roads will be closed from 6pm until the Carnival has passed through.

  • The Down
  • Timbrell Street
  • Union Street
  • Church Street
  • Market Street
  • Castle Street
  • Bythesea Road

All car parks located at St Stephen’s Place, Castle Street and Bythesea Road will be inaccessible from 6pm until 11pm. Please plan ahead if you are attending any of the establishments located in this area.
