As we approach the end of the year, nominations are still open for Trowbridge Town Council Civic Award and Town Enhancement Award for 2021.
The Civic Award is given to an individual who has made a difference within their local community. The recipient will be a person who has made a material contribution to the welfare of the people of Trowbridge by direct or indirect effort in the form of community service, efforts in support of charitable work carried on in the Town, personal effort and achievement and any form of personal self-sacrifice that has directly or indirectly assisted the townspeople of Trowbridge or has contributed to the advancement and well-being of the town of Trowbridge, and for any other act of outstanding citizenship.
The Town Enhancement Award recognises a building project or development which has significantly enhanced Trowbridge. Nominations may be for a housing estate, a new building, the refurbishment of an existing building, a road improvement scheme, a landscaping scheme, an environmental scheme possibly including street furniture and flower beds: please note, any nominated project must have been completed by the end of 2019.
