An action group of local landlords, property investors, business owners and environmentalists have brought several local community groups together to take action to improve the appearance and environment of Trowbridge town centre.
Called ‘Invest In Trowbridge’ it has already received a donation of 950 tree saplings from OVO Energy, has applied for town centre public water refill stations to be reinstalled, and are joining forces to help landlords to fill empty units in the town. For further information or to join please send an email to in****************@gm***.com.
Asked to comment, Trowbridge Town Councillor Stewart Palmen said “In the last year I have enjoyed being a part of the ‘Invest in Trowbridge’ group who have been looking at how the town could be improved and have helped support The Weavers Market. It is really good to be part of a team of people so positive about our lovely county town and who can see routes to making the town a better place through encouraging investment and getting all interested parties talking to each other.”
The group has also set up a free business networking group so that business owners can meet on a monthly basis in the town, if interested in joining, please send an email to tr***********************@gm***.com.
