As we’ve now been in lockdown for almost three weeks, many Trowbridge Town Council colleagues are continuing to work from home to ensure business affairs will all be in order when the current crisis comes to its eventual end.

Members of the Finance Team have been busy ensuring all accounts are up to date and finalised ready for end of year submission, as well as easing into the new tax year. The Civic staff have been continuing to take care of all refunds on tickets purchased through the Civic Website for all cancelled events. They are continuing to support the NHS by servicing Blood Donors in the Lansdown Hall and have already begun rescheduling events,  along with compiling a new and exciting programme for the future.

Our colleagues from Trowbridge Museum continue to keep everyone posted regarding their ‘Onwards & Upwards’ expansion project – hopefully they’ll be on track now for an Autumn re-opening . . .

The Information Services Team, Active Trowbridge, Facilities and Neighbourhood Services have once again been going the extra mile to ensure that any vulnerable members of the community in and around Trowbridge are given as much help as possible with collections of shopping and prescriptions. Take a look at the graphic (right) to see once again what they’ve achieved over the last four days, making so much of a difference to so many lives.

If you or someone you know might benefit from the services mentioned above, or for advice or information concerning anything else, please email the Information Services Team at info@trowbridge.gov.uk or call 01225 765072 (8am-4pm Monday* to Friday, 10am-2pm Saturday). Stay home, and stay safe, everyone – oh, and a Happy Easter to all of you from all of us!

* Please note that our telephone line will not be open on Easter Monday, April 13th.
