Trowbridge is to stage its Annual Town Council meeting online this year, due to the Government’s Covid-19 lockdown regulations.

For the first time, the Town Clerk and councillors will be able to answer questions from the public, with all participating from the comfort of their own homes. The meeting will take place Tuesday, May 19, at 7pm.

Town Clerk and Chief Executive Lance Allan said “We will be holding the Annual Town Council meeting online this year. As always, everyone is invited and can ask questions. To join in, all you need to do is to email myself at la*********@tr********.uk or Amanda Quick, Council Secretary at am**********@tr********.uk.” In response, you will receive joining instructions and the link. The last time councillors met in public was at a Full Council meeting in March, shortly before the lockdown was imposed.
