One of the things that we’ve all noticed during COVID-19 is the way wild flowers have taken over roadside grass verges.
The Neighbourhood Services Team at Trowbridge Town Council have been spending a great deal of their time over the past 12 weeks helping to deliver essential items to those more vulnerable members of the local community. However, now they’re going to be out and about around Trowbridge, planting wild flowers in the planters situated around the town and the flower beds in the Town Park – we’ve all been through some tough times lately, so won’t it be great to have some extra colour in our lives? We’re sure that this will bring a smile to everyone’s face . . . (and let’s not forget that it’s fantastic for the environment, especially the bugs and the bees).
