Trowbridge Town Council has set up a Working Group to work across the community on initiatives to protect and improve the environment, biodiversity and climate change. Councillor Chris Hoar, Chair of the Working Group reports, “The Environmental Working Group has now had two very productive meetings over zoom. Bringing together councillors from all political groups with outside organisations and individuals that are concerned with environmental issues within Trowbridge, the working group aims to make recommendations to the council about how it can better protect the environment and ecology. It is also set up to monitor and help with the already significant progress the council is making with regards mitigating its carbon footprint along with any other environmental commitments.”
