Things are livening up for The Civic once again. They’ve had a busy few months preparing for Autumn.
Down To Business: Meeting Rooms
The Civic is once again available for meetings! We have several rooms and can help you to get back to work in comfortable surroundings. Under current government guidelines, we can accommodate:
Lansdown Hall – 100 persons
Usher Suite – 48 Persons
Usher 1 – 24 persons
Usher 2 – 24 persons
Bowyer Room – 15 Persons
Pitman Room – 6 Persons
Included in the hire is use of audio/visual equipment and free Wi-Fi. All rooms are bookable now and there is 15% off all room hire booked in September. We are operating a Covid-19 compliant space and look forward to welcoming our customers back to the Civic.
Stagecoach Trowbridge & Frome
It was great to welcome Stagecoach Trowbridge & Frome back to the Civic. It was extremely well attended, with over 40 talented youngsters from the area having fun and developing all their skills in the Performing Arts over a 4 day workshop. Due to the versatility of the Civic and the fact we have plenty of room, we were able to accommodate all attendees in a safe and secure environment throughout their event.
Supporting the NHS
The Civic is proud to support the NHS, and not only have we been continuing with regular Blood Donor sessions but during September & October, we will be assisting Lovemead Group Practice to deliver Flu Vaccinations to all their patients. This is by appointment only and not a drop in service but it is estimated that they will be able to vaccinate in the region of 4000 people to help them stay safer this winter.
Entertainment News
Plans are also currently underway to bring back our live music events for 2021. Unfortunately, all events had to be cancelled for 2020 and all tickets refunded. Shows have been re-scheduled and new ones booked and we are working hard to be able to advertise and sell tickets as soon as we can in the knowledge we are complying with all safety regulations to keep all our customers and staff safe. All the team here at The Civic are eager to get back to work and provide you with a place to enjoy live entertainment once more!
