One upside of the coronavirus pandemic has been that many of us have taken a different approach and attitude towards exercise. Get Wiltshire Walking is a Public Health-funded project which aims to ensure every community within the county has access to a FREE weekly led walk. Each walk has its regular starting venue on the same day and time each week. Organisers try to vary the routes each week and always ensure that the slowest walkers are looked after.
Our free, graded weekly walking groups are led by fully qualified walk leaders. Friendly and fun, they are a great opportunity to get fit, meet new people and get to know your local area. (Sorry no dogs, other than sensory dogs, are allowed.)
The walks have now returned in a phased approach, however at this time are only open to previously registered walkers. Coordinators will be in touch with these walkers with the programme schedule – in the meantime, why not go to this website to find out more?
