We’re sure that by now you’ve heard about Beat The Street – a fun, free activity that has seen Trowbridge transformed into a giant game!

The object of the game has been to see how far you can walk, cycle and run in just four weeks – or maybe over as short a period as possible – some of the town’s more athletic types have even managed to cover it in a day! There are great challenges to enjoy and prizes up for grabs – why not visit the website above to learn more?

In the two weeks since the game launched in Trowbridge on October 7th,  over 4,300 players have taken part, with an absolutely staggering 30,400 miles covered by the route around the town – that’s one and a quarter times the circumference of the earth!

With the October half-term break coming up, there are some great Autumnal activities to be enjoyed – click this link

Beat The Street is an activity that is safe within COVID-19 guidelines – read about the benefits at the end of the newsletter.

P.S. Trowbridge Information Centre has literally a small handful of cards remaining – if you’d still like to take part, please drop in on Thursday or Friday, between 8am and 12.30pm, or between 1pm and 4pm.
