We are delighted to announce that Trowbridge Museum will be reopening on Saturday 27th March 2021! Our entire museum team are working hard to make up for time lost due to COVID-19 safety restrictions, and we cannot wait to unveil the final results of our ‘Onwards and Upwards’ project. The community has always been at the forefront of our minds with the redevelopment, and we are so excited to show you your heritage in your brand-new local museum.

In the very first preview of our new displays, we revealed our brilliant new Stumpy sheep design this month! Stumpy is a well-loved member of our team and will feature heavily in the museum with his ‘Stumpy Says’ facts, as well as his real-life counterpart who will be returning on display to welcome visitors back.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates on our website and FacebookInstagram and twitter pages for our Christmas pop-up shop dates. Our Trowbridge Museum products, plus many more gifts and books, will be available to purchase for a limited run in the build up to Christmas! If you can’t make it to our pop-up shop, not to worry! We will be selling all our Trowbridge Museum products and more when we reopen, and if you are looking to buy something Christmas themed, watch our Festive Friday craft sessions every Friday for festive decorations you can make from home!
