In the latest coronavirus pandemic development, Trowbridge and the rest of Wiltshire has now been confirmed as having moved up to the COVID-19 Tier 3 ‘Very High Alert’ category as of Thursday 31st December.
This means that greater restrictions have now been introduced:
- You must not socialise with anyone you do not live with or who is not in your support bubble, in any indoor setting, whether at home or in a public place
- You must not meet socially in a private garden or any outdoor public venue with anybody you do not live with or do not have a support bubble with
- You can see friends and family in a group of up to six (limit includes children of any age) in certain outdoor spaces including parks, beaches, the countryside, forests, public gardens, allotments, grounds of a heritage site, outdoor sports courts and facilities, playgrounds
- Hospitality settings, such as bars (including shisha bars), pubs, cafes, restaurants, and social clubs must close except for takeaway, delivery and click and collect services. This includes restaurants and bars within hotels or members’ clubs.
