In the absence of many forthcoming town events this year, Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce is organising a Trowbridge ‘Windows On Nature’ art trail featuring large-scale artwork on the theme of ‘biodiversity and climate change’ for display in empty shop windows and other venues around Trowbridge from Saturday 5th June – World Environment Day.

The Chamber is inviting BA14 artists, designers, community groups, schools, photographers and other creatives to submit design ideas for dramatic, large-scale artwork (around 2m x 2m) in any medium, from paintings to 3D sculptures, photography or other eye-catching creative ideas to raise awareness of the threats to wildlife and the environment and also to increase footfall to Trowbridge town centre.

Initially looking for ideas for 5-10 core pieces of large-scale artwork, the Chamber will then invite shops and businesses to create their own window displays to featuring on the ‘Windows On Nature’ trail maps, as well as to discuss sponsorship opportunities.
