Wiltshire’s county town, Trowbridge, will be observing the passing of the first year during which the UK has come to live with the coronavirus pandemic.

On Tuesday March 23rd, it will have been 12 months since the first Covid-19 lockdown was announced. This anniversary will be marked at 8pm on a National Day of Reflection, which will give everyone an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s collective loss, to offer support those who have been bereaved, and to share hopes for a brighter future.

As part of its ongoing ‘Light Up Trowbridge’ plans, Trowbridge Town Council will be marking the anniversary by shining two huge beams from the roof of The Civic which will be able to be seen for miles around.
