We are delighted to announce that the museum will be reopening on Saturday May 22nd ! We can’t wait to welcome you back and show you the results of our ‘Onwards and Upwards’ redevelopment.
The museum has doubled in size and features new displays, never-before-seen objects and interactives for all ages! Due to ongoing Government guidelines, we will have limited capacity in place where visitors will need to pre-book a timeslot. Follow our website, Facebook, Instagram and twitter page to get ready for when we release the link to book!
in the meantime, March has been a very busy month as we finish the main displays and add the finishing touches to the museum. The interpretation boards and signage have now been installed and the cases are coming together ready to welcome you back in just under two months’ time!
We also had so many fantastic applicants for our Learning & Outreach apprentice role at the museum this month. We are still in the process of recruiting, but can’t wait to introduce you to our new team member.
