After the sell-out success of Martin Kemp’s DJ set this coming November, The Civic Trowbridge is very excited to be welcoming him back for a second date on Friday 29th April 2022!
Former Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp will be bringing his ‘Back To The 80s Party’ to Trowbridge Civic Centre. The actor, musician, producer and DJ will be taking to the decks, spinning all the best of the hits from the decade of day-glo, at one of the biggest nights to take place in Wiltshire this year!
Part of the ‘New Romantics’ movement of the early 1980s, Spandau Ballet sold millions of records worldwide, with Martin as bass player. Additionally, Martin has been a huge TV personality, with a starring role in BBC One’s ‘Eastenders’, not forgetting his acclaimed role as Reggie in the 1989 British film ‘The Krays’, alongside his brother Gary as Ron. In the West End, Martin has also starred in the hit musical ‘Chicago’, whilst other TV appearances have included Channel 4’s ‘Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls’, and more recently, ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ with his son, Roman Kemp.
