There’s plenty of news from the Town Council’s leisure services team Active Trowbridge this month. Work on the town’s multi-use games areas (MUGAs) is progressing well, with all new fencing and a tarmac playing surfaces in place. Contractors will be returning in the near future to line mark them which will complete the refurbishment process.

With summer (and of course school holidays!) on the horizon, Active will once again be running its holiday camps, and the team is happy to be able to announce that single day bookings are returning for the summer, as are extended days which will now take between 8am and 4pm (£21.60 per child per day): the standard day will be 9am -3:15pm (at a daily cost of £17 per child)

Soccer Schools will also be able to book single days (however, not extended ones), and will remain as a three-day-per-week camp.

There have been some changes made to the Active Extras programme: @dance is moving to Mondays, however times and location remain unchanged (5pm -5:45pm at John of Gaunt School).

The Soccer Schools Development Centre is moving to Tuesdays, with times and location also remaining unchanged (5pm-6pm at John of Gaunt School).

Active Kickers, Kicker Tots, Mini Movers and Active Ruggas are all moving to the multi-sport court in Trowbridge Park. The times and days of these sessions remain changed.
