Lovers of regional beers and ciders will be spoilt for choice at the end of August, when Trowbridge hosts its Craft Beer and Cider Festival.

Returning to the Innox Mills site at the former Bowyers factory in Stallard Street, the festival runs from Friday, August 27th to Sunday, August 30th, within the courtyard that is set to become the Innox Quarter, once the development has been completed.

A mobile bar will also be on hand to provide a range of alcoholic drinks, including gins and wines, plus there will also be a selection of soft drinks, to make sure no-one is left thirsty.

A number of street food vendors will be providing refreshment of the non-liquid type, and live music sessions will also add to the festival atmosphere.

The festival itself forms part of the site owners’ plans for a vibrant new quarter at Innox Mills, as a taster of the food, drink and leisure facilities intended for the development, where 300 new homes are planned.

A spokesman for Innox Mills said “Whether catching up with friends during the day or enjoying the evening festival atmosphere, we hope the Craft Beer and Cider Festival gives people in Trowbridge and the surrounding area a chance to experience a taste of what’s to come at Innox Mills, while enjoying some of the best independent beers, ales and ciders from the region along with some of the best local musical talent that the area has to offer. Drinkers will be able to obtain tasting notes on all of the drinks available, to help them choose what they’d like to try.”
