The Neighbourhood Services team at Trowbridge Town Council are constantly working to improve the appearance of our town – but it’s not just about clearing weeds from gutters. Over the past weeks, the tasks they have completed include repairs to the Parsonage Road play area (just in time for the school holidays), and working alongside a team of volunteers who look after some of the beautiful floral areas around the town. These include the Textile Garden, situated on Union Street, and the ‘Riot of Colour’ flower beds, at the south-east of the Town Park.
Another project with which NS have been involved is the Blue Heart campaign: they have been co-operating with the Trowbridge Environmental Community in helping ‘re-wild’ designated areas around the town which will encourage wildlife, thus helping the natural environment.
