Mayor of Trowbridge, Councillor Denise Bates, recently met representatives of two Wiltshire-based organisations that awarded grants earlier this year by Trowbridge Town Council. Councillor Bates presented cheques totalling £2,300.00 to Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, based in Devizes, Back on Track, which provides support and rehabilitation to stroke victims and their carers, and a charity that supports families of addicts, Families Out Loud.
The organisations were among a number who had also received grant funding from the Town Council. On presenting the cheques, Councillor Bates said that it was a great pleasure to be able to present the cheques to such deserving causes, and also that the Town Council will always welcome applications for grant funding from similar causes in the future.
Please Note that Trowbridge Town Council’s Grant Application Process for 2020/2021 has now closed. Information on grants for 2021/2022 will be available later in the year, through this link.
