Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,000 local people and organisations, and thousands of volunteers. Every year in September, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.
So, why not come along on Saturday September 11th to find out more about the history of our own town’s grand centrepiece, Trowbridge Town Hall?
A half-an-hour tour of the building takes you through the public (and some private) parts of the building, pointing out items of historical and social significance. You’ll also learn about some of The Town Hall’s plans for the future. (Please note there will be some stairs to navigate, so do let the Town Hall know if you need a more accessible tour.)
Booking recommended as spaces are limited for this FREE event – and it’s selling out fast, so book here.
