Young people in Trowbridge who complete random acts of kindness can now be rewarded with a voucher to spend in local businesses, through a new kindness loyalty card launched by local charity Trowbridge Future. Now, more businesses are being sought to participate.

Each completed act of kindness, chosen from a list of suggestions put together by Trowbridge Future or ideas from the young people themselves, earns a stamp on the Kindness Loyalty card. When young people achieve three stamps, they are rewarded with a £5 voucher that can be redeemed at one of four local businesses.

“Young people have had a really tough time through the pandemic and this scheme is our way of inspiring and celebrating little acts of kindness that can bring a lot to the individual and to the community,” said Meg Aubrey, Trowbridge Future Chief Executive Officer. “We are really grateful to the local businesses that have got behind the scheme to let young people know their kindness is noticed and appreciated. However, we’d like to get more local businesses interested.”
