Following the Town Council elections held in May, Trowbridge Town Council has been constantly working toward the development of its new strategy for the four year term of office leading up to the next scheduled elections in 2025. Having completed many significant investment projects in recent years, the final one will be the Artificial Turf Pitch at Doric Park (home to Trowbridge Rugby Club), which is due to be completed in the first part of this term, the new strategy will have a change of focus and will be based on the following three themes:

A Greener Trowbridge
A More Active Trowbridge
A More Vibrant Trowbridge

This new strategy is due to be presented to a meeting of the Town Council’s Policy & Resources Committee on Tuesday 2nd November, for approval a fortnight later at a meting of the Full Council on Tuesday 16th November.

Trowbridge Town Council will continue to provide its range of services and facilities for the whole of the Trowbridge community, to develop the town’s sustainability for the future, to take responsibility for more matters which are local to the town and its residents, and to offer good value compared to other town councils throughout Wiltshire.
