In November, Councillor Denise Bates, Trowbridge’s Mayor, invited schoolchildren from across the Trowbridge area to design her annual Christmas card, to be sent to numerous other town councils throughout the South West, and even to the mayors of Trowbridge’s twin towns in France, Germany and Poland. Two designs were selected by the Mayor – designs by both Amber and Esmai were those chosen, both depicting Christmas scenes.
