Semington Camera Club Exhibition at Trowbridge Museum
We are very proud to have Semington Camera Club as the first group to exhibit in our bookable space. At the start of the first Covid ‘lockdown’ in 2020, Roy and Sue McDine and friend Milena Sorlini from Semington felt there was a need for like-minded villagers who enjoy photography to form a club. The club started as a Facebook group and progressed into a group of friends who inspire and encourage each other with their photography and meet out and about when safe to do so.
The club had their first exhibition at the Semington Village Fete in July 2021 and are incredibly proud and excited to be exhibiting at our beautifully restored Trowbridge Museum. You can come and see the wonderful range of the group’s photos from the end of January 2022.
If you are part of a community group, school or club and have work you’d like to exhibit we’d love to hear from you! Please contact our collections & exhibition officer Nikki at ni**********@tr********.uk for full details.
Other Exhibitions
The museum continues to host ‘The Comeback Kids: Life Re-Begins With Retirement,’ which is an exhibition incorporating work by renowned illustrator and author Quentin Blake, and runs until Saturday March 26th 2022. Jill Hillman’s Teddy Bear Exhibition of beautifully restored teddy bears remains on display and is also well worth a visit.
