From Wiltshire Council: Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Closure of Hilperton Road (Part), Hilperton and Trowbridge (Ref: TTRO 7892)
Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic the following Trowbridge roads:
Hilperton Road (Part), Hilperton and Trowbridge; from its roundabout junction with Elizabeth Way to approximately 60m north east of its roundabout junction with The Halve.
This is to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out road pavement resurfacing and associated works. An alternative route can be taken via A361 – A350 – A363 – A361 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order will come into operation between 21st and 25th March 2022 and 28th and 30th March 2022, the closures between the hours of 19:00 and 00:00. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
