Trowbridge Town Football Club is looking for a groundskeeper – or more than one – to keep its pitches at the Woodmarsh ground in good shape.

The job involves one or two days’ work per week and includes grass-cutting, mowing, strimming and general maintenance. The job-holder needs to learn to drive a small tractor as part of the role.

Current Groundsman Chris Bell said: “This is a job for someone who likes being outdoors and doing something useful. Trowbridge Town is a lively club with hundreds of youngsters as well as the first team. So looking after the ground is a very worthwhile thing to do.”

Club Chairman Jon Pennell said: “Chris has given us brilliant service for many years and now we’re looking for someone to keep us going from next season. It could be one person or two or three working a rota. There is some remuneration as well as the chance to support a great community club.”

If you’re interested, please contact Jon Pennell on 07802 337569.
