‘I Wore It First’
Location: Castle Place Market, Lower Floor
Run by Maisy Little and Alison Little, this clothes shop opened in April 2022 and specialises in vintage and pre loved items. Inspired by Maisy’s course in Fashion, Business & Retail in College, this enterprising duo both love fashion, especially fast fashion. However, with fast fashion usually being sold online only, they both found it hard to find the perfect outfit without seeing it on real life; this typical cycle of buying and returning leads to tonnes of clothes going to landfill each year. So with the environmental impact in mind, Maisy and Alison set up their shop so customers could try items from their favourite online clothing shops in person. Its not just fast fashion brands though; the shop also has a rotating selection of vintage footwear.
