An ‘absolutely magical’ Active Festival was back after three years. The event was held in Trowbridge Town Park and over 10,000 people attend the one day festival.
The event is free to the community and provides access to a variety of opportunities including, roller rinks, human table football, climbing wall and a wide variety of sports provided by our local sports clubs and the Active Trowbridge Team who once again show what an asset they are to the town.
Hayley Bell Head of Leisure and Information Services at Trowbridge Town Council, said to see the community come together again after three challenging years was overwhelming. With the cost of living increasing for all and the pressure this puts on families. For Trowbridge Town Council to provide a FREE event to our community is vital, Active Trowbridge are providing a free sports roadshow in Trowbridge Park every Friday in the Summer Holidays and the Community Events Officer Vicky Spriggs is organising Uniform Services Day in September.
