Trowbridge Town Council want to remind you about the brand new fun packed event in Trowbridge this September!  The Uniform Services Day event will be held in Trowbridge Park on 10th September 2022 and will celebrate and highlight the amazing work of the Emergency Services and Armed Forces.

The event will include a wide selection of stalls, information points and displays from each of the emergency services.  Vintage and modern vehicle displays, dog demos, service bands… there will be a great variety of exhibits to interest a wide audience.

The Police, West Wiltshire and Dorset Fire and Rescue, Ambulance Service, RNLI and Wiltshire Air Ambulance will be in attendance, along with other uniformed services such as the RSPCA, Wiltshire Search and Rescue and the Blood Bikes, not forgetting the Brownies and Guides too!

There will be many ‘have-a-go’ activities for young and old – themed play areas for the kids, first aid demonstrations and army bootcamps to join in with, assault courses to battle through and climbing walls to test your strength!  Trowbridge Museum will also be joining us, looking back at Trowbridge militia and emergency services history.

There will of course be delicious food and drink and entertainment on stage will help add to the atmosphere and keep your tummies full!

Community Events Officer Victoria Spriggs said: “Having had a really challenging few years, we wanted to organise an event that acknowledges and celebrates the wonderful work the uniformed services do.  Many of these organisations have worked tirelessly to keep us safe over the last couple of years and we want to show our thanks.  We hope that the community will come out to show their support too!”

If you are involved with one of the uniformed services or have a collection of memorabilia or a display that ties in with the event theme and would like to exhibit at the event please contact ev****@tr********.uk.
