Today we welcome H.B.Pitt Garden Shop to the town, Matthew Webb, owner of ‘The Nursery’ Garden Centre at Hilperton, took advantage of the Future High Street Funding, to help in restoring this historical Trowbridge Building. The building itself dates back to 1662 and Matt has put together an outline of the major changes of ownership and products sold over the last 350 years on our website. Matt is a professional horticulturist and built the business from scratch, He loves his job, his staff and his customers. Plants are his passion and he adores growing, nurturing and knowing as much as possible about them and then passing on his expert knowledge to staff and customers.

They have a fantastic selection of Seeds, Plants, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Tools, Gardening gifts and much much more.
This is a historic venue that has had the name of H. B. Pitt associated with it since 1912. Matt has gone to great lengths to refurbish the shop to an extremely high standard by way of preserving the importance of the building to Trowbridge. He has retained as many of the original features as he can but have supplimented these with bespoke, rustic fittings that add a new dimension to the shop.
