Councillor Stephen Cooper was unanimously voted in as the new Mayor of Trowbridge for 2023-2024 at a meeting of the Full Council on Tuesday 16th May. Cllr Denise Bates was elected as Deputy Mayor. Trowbridge Town Council extends a warm welcome to both and wishes them the best of luck in their new roles.
Mayor Cllr Cooper says “It is a huge honour to be elected Mayor of Trowbridge. I hope that I can repay the trust of the people of Grove Ward and the Councillors who have entrusted me to take on this role”
