Bowls’ Big Weekend

Bowls’ Big Weekend (May 28th-31st) is a national event providing the opportunity for you, your friends and family to give bowls a go. Up and down the country, bowls clubs will be opening their doors to people who want to try a new sport, have some fun and meet new people. We at Trowbridge Town Bowls Club are really excited to be welcoming new people to our club and can guarantee that you will have plenty of time on the green testing your skills, meet our friendly club members and learn about how you can be part of our friendly, local club. There’ll be fun competitions, refreshments on offer and lots of laughs – just remember to wear flat-soled footwear (trainers are fine!). And of course, we’ll be putting measures in place to ensure your experience will be delivered in a Covid-safe manner.

We know it’s normal to feel a little apprehensive about starting something new, but bowls is a sport that is easy to take up and you’ll be assured a warm welcome. It is very doable, whatever your physical ability, it’s relatively inexpensive and is really sociable! It’s a great sport to spend time (and maybe enjoy a little healthy competition!) with family, and bowls clubs are a perfect place to relax over a cup of tea, or something a little stronger.

Book your place for the Bowls’ Big Weekend session at our club (details in the link above) or go to our Contact Us page and leave a message – we will be in touch to ensure you and your group have all you need to enjoy a fantastic time with us!
